Realization of rewarding workplaces
Promotion of diverse human resources
(Employment)
With an aim of promoting business targeting overseas and inbound markets, OpenDoor actively employs a wide range of personnel. We will increase this percentage, including in the employment of new graduates, as we aim to create workplaces that are multicultural and where diverse human resources can be actively involved.
(Training)
In order to facilitate workplace diversification and multicultural exchange, OpenDoor has established the system that subsidizes the expenses of external English conversation lessons.
Advancement of women in the workplace
(Acquisition of the Kurumin mark)
In April 2014, OpenDoor acquired the “Kurumin” mark—a certificate of next generation support established by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare based on Article 13 of the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children (Act No. 120 of 2003). We will continue efforts to create an environment where employees can handle both careers and childcare.
(Initiatives)
Apart from the maternity and post-natal leave programs stipulated by law, OpenDoor has also introduced the following programs to promote the active participation of all employees, regardless of gender.
- Childcare leave program
- Shorter working hours program
- Sick/injured childcare leave program
- Staggered working hours program
As of March 31, 2021, the percentage of female employees was 45.6%.
Support for employee health
To support its employees to work in good physical and mental health, OpenDoor covers the expenses of up to five visits to the gym per month as part of its welfare programs.
Elimination of Child Labour and Forced Labour
